Dr. Isabel Haugh is a Consultant Dermatologist specialising in cosmetic, medical and paediatric dermatology. With a stellar academic and professional background, Dr. Haugh is double board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and holds specialist registration in dermatology with the Irish Medical Council. She attained full qualification as a dermatologist in the US, where she received world-class training. Before returning to Ireland, she served as Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. After completing medical school at the University of Galway and internship at the University of Limerick, Dr. Haugh took her training Stateside. She completed her dermatology residency at the revered Baylor University Medical Center, where she graduated as Chief Resident. Dr. Haugh’s commitment to excellence is evidenced by her pursuit of two additional fellowships. She undertook an intensive dermatology research fellowship at Northwestern University‘s Feinberg School of Medicine and a paediatric dermatology fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Over the course of her career to date, Dr. Haugh has garnered vast experience working at some of the largest dermatology departments in the US. She has earned multiple awards, including a University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Teaching Award in 2020. Dr. Haugh has been heavily involved in dermatological research and her published works have over 400 citations. She is an expert reviewer for esteemed journals, has presented both nationally and internationally, and has earned accolades for her contributions to research, teaching, and writing. Dr. Haugh cares for patients of all ages and with all types of skin, hair and nail problems, such as acne, rosacea, and skin cancer. She is one of the few physicians in Ireland to have formal expert training in Cosmetic Dermatology and, as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology, she led cosmetic dermatology residency training for Baylor University Medical Center. Dr. Haugh believes in looking and feeling your best at any age and helps her patients achieve this by combining state-of-the-art technology with the most up-to-date medical evidence, an advanced skill set, and an artistic eye.
